A six hour pelagic around the islands was worth a go and the best moments from the camera screen were reviewing the early contact with a pod of
Common Dolphins. For once I was ahead of the leaps and with the proximity to the boat, these aren't tight crops but virtually full frame jobs at just 100mm of lens!
Bella was of course going crazy at this point in time!
Nearly capturing the whole leap from this individual....
And one more to finish with!
With a
Minke Whale showing really well, at least 2 Harbour Porpoise and 1 huge Basking Shark estimated at c 8m long, it wan't as ever all about the birds!
