After the flyover Little Bunting from yesterday, even better was to come with two showing well albeit distant at the standing stones field Lower Moors. Given the distance I nearly didn't point the camera but glad I did as record shots of any good bird are always worth the effort.
Other birds here included trip ticks: Reed Bunting, Redwing and Yellow Wagtail over. Spotted Flycatcher too.
The Short-toed Lark was still at the airfield.....
Female Merlin and Skylark on Porthellick Down were the only birds of note as Martin Grant and I searched in vain for the 'confiding' Little Bunting in the small cove by the old quarry.
With news breaking of a Red-flanked Bluetail on St Agnes, I think I know where I'll be going tomorrow!!
