

Little ringed Plovers have been back for a week now, I counted four today - two presumed males sulking on the main island as this beautiful romance blossomed....


A little toe tapping helps to attact small morsels of prey....

Highlight of the previous week was without doubt, the brief appearance (on the 2nd) of a Great grey Shrike at Walcot.

It was not found the following day and only a few distant record shots were possible.
