Venus Pool - LRP take one

Nothing too exciting at VP this morning apart from the odd movement of hirundines, up to 20 Sand Martins, including two Swallows with at least one House Martin present.

The camera was generally in the bag although a bit of a ruck amongst the Coots tempted me.....

And then a male Common Redstart, feeding of the wires behind the memorial hide! There were at least three present with another two seen along the top fiedl hedge line!

Star of the show was one of the three Little Ringed Plovers present which flew onto the mud directly in front of the hide!

That will do nicely!

I'm always moaning but if only this had happened in better light ....
