Cleehill - Wheatear

Checked out Titterstone Clee today with Rob Stokes after a reported Water Pipit sighting? We checked the Quarry, Buildings, Screes, and Car Park areas with this or Ring Ouzel in mind? Nothing doing! There were at least a dozen Wheatear though.....

The highlight of the day came at VP where the hide was rapidly vacated following Simon Twigger's announcement at the door - "Osprey flying high overhead"! Now there's a year tick I thought would never come (and neither did any pictures) it was soon gone, rapidly losing height in the direction of Berrington pool??

I wonder if that's the last we shall see of that bird....
