Tresco - Red-breasted Flycatcher

The Red-breasted Flycatcher had been seen quite regularly between the two Great Pool hides and we soon found the gallery chancing their luck?

And it didn't take long before it was on the trip list!

And compared to others I've seen, pretty showy!

One thing you sensed as the camera locked focus, it was just about to dart off after another fly!

You could keep tabs on it by listening for the loud 'snap' as yet another flying insect met it's doom!

And then coming much closer than these guys rarely do!

Job done methinks :-)
