Venus Pool - Little Ringed Plover

The dust has settled, deflector shields switched on and (with the exception of the Titterstone Clee Shorelark) life returns to normal in sleepy Shropshire! Little Ringed Plovers are arriving, the first was seen at Wood Lane on 25th March and Venus Pool currently has two, there will undoubtedly be more soon...

Launching into display flight every now and then, devilishly difficult to keep up with 700mm of reach! Three acceptable 'keepers'...

I'd settled down in the hope of a Sandwich Tern (loads moving nationally) but other Black-headed Gulls, no fly throughs...
