Scilly day 3 - Yellow-browed Warbler

With dusk gathering and the Melodious Warbler having disappeared, a shout from the other end of Garden Battery got my attention.... "Yellow-browed Warbler!"

You betcha, mobile but stunning little bird and whether it was thinking of roosting, it actually sat still on a branch for all of 3 seconds!! That's still time for at least 20 images and at ISO 1000, I'd actually got 1/200sec exposure - there were some 'keepers'!

A quick shuffle around....

Eyeing up some aphids?

So close, the grain is hardly noticeable!

They may be 'everywhere' at this time of year but they are one of the trickiest to keep in the viewfinder!
