Brownhills - Glossy Ibis

There's a few decent birds about in the Midlands and another cross border hop saw me make the short journey to Brownhills.....

The Glossy Ibis was still in with the horses, coming reasonably close but frustratingly the sun refused to shine for most of the session!

The sun briefly came out lighting up the plumage!

Another tasty morsel, apart from the odd large worm, small snails seemed to be it's intended morsels....

It took off and flew around the paddocks on two occasions!

Eventually against some blue sky :-)

I nipped back to Shropshire, checking a dismal Priorslee and then Horsehay, where have all the large Gulls gone?
