There's always a Sparrowhawk or two around at VP but in all the years I've been sat watching the pool, the opportunities to catch them through a lens are few and far between! So when I caught sight of a male out of the corner of my eye trying to flush anything feathered from the near bank, it was one of those reflex point and shoot moments!!
From a couple of bursts, there were one or two 'keepers'....



Oh well, these will do given the circumstances, blue sky and good light one day.....
