Wyre Forest - Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary

Another trip to the (Shropshire) Wyre Forest and another Butterfly, this time Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary! Within the first few minutes on site I knew there were at least two present!

Then that was it, a real struggle to find more in the hot afternoon sun.

Just the one male to keep me company then!

And then a long awaited flash of those pearls :-)

There was a female Broad-bodied Chaser still present too!
